This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how CDRjobs processes personal information when users access or visit this website www.CDRjobs.earth (the "Website") and use the relevant services, including accessing the job board with the job listings available in the carbon dioxide removal industry to the users ("Services") or subscribe to the email newsletter. 

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "User" means the user of the Website and the Services.

SOURCE FOR DATA COLLECTION

The personal data described in the following sections (the "Personal Data" or the "Data") are automatically collected or provided by Users through browsing or use of the WebSite and Services, or for subscribing to the email newsletter with the job listings available in the carbon dioxide removal industry.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING – to collect of statistical Data on the use of the Website by the Users, as well as for controlling the Website operation. In particular CDRjobs may infer information about User interactions with the Website and Services, the content viewed and the search queries submitted; information about the User based on his interaction with Services; information on the type of device Users are using, how they access our Website, their browser or operating system and Internet Protocol ("IP") address.

OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA – The failure to provide the Data, carried out by disabling cookies/local Storage in the browser, could prevent User from accessing all the Website functions.

LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING - The legitimate interest of the Controller to operate and control the Website and to obtain Data on its usage, or Users consent, depending on the cookie.

CATEGORIES OF DATA - PERSONAL AND CONTACT DATA - name, surname, email

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING – send User the email newsletters with the job listings available in the carbon dioxide removal industry, company profile and other relevant industry insight. 

OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA -If you do not provide these Data, it will not be possible for the Controller to send you the email newsletters.

LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING - The consent given in the subscription form for the newsletter on the Website by flagging the relative "consent button". User can exercise the right to object to the receipt of these email newsletters at any time, immediately or at a later date, by writing to info@cdrjobs.earth

DATA STORAGE PERIOD - The Controller undertakes to erase User Data from its systems 24 months after the date of the last interaction of the Users with CDRjobs (such as reading the newsletter or contact CDRjobs).

 

Managing requests to our forms of contacts

CATEGORIES OF DATA - PERSONAL AND CONTACT DATA name, surname, email, address, company, country, region, city - OTHER DATA relevant category (job seeker/job employer/association/investor). Data communicated in the specific text form on the Website or to the mailbox of the Controller.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING - To manage contact requests made via the specific Site page ("contacts") or by email to the Controller.

MANDATORY PROVISION OF DATA - If User does not provide these Data, it will not be possible for the Controller to process the requests sent.

LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING - The need to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract to which you are party, as well as the need to comply with legal obligations.

DATA STORAGE PERIOD - The Controller undertakes to erase your Data from its systems provided in relation to requests submitted via the Website or by email 24 months after the date of provision.

 

SUBJECTS AUTHORISED TO PROCESS DATA

User Data will be processed by duly appointed employees of the Controller, who have been expressly authorised to process the Data under our instructions and taking appropriate measures to protect User Data in relation to all the purposes set forth above.

 

POSSIBLE RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The following subjects may become aware of User Data in connection with the processing purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and will be allowed to process the Data either as an autonomous Data controllers or Data processors duly appointed by the Controller (the list of such Data processors is available upon e-mail request to be submitted to info@cdrjobs.earth:

• Subjects dealing with the marketing services (sending newsletters, market research, customer satisfaction analysis); companies providing IT infrastructure and IT support and consulting services, companies providing Data analysis and development services as well as law, accounting and auditing firms;

• the Controller's purchasers or successors in the event of merger, sale, restructuring, reorganisation, winding-up or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Controller's assets in the context of which personal information are transferred.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA ABROAD

All Data processing is carried out in countries of the European Union.

Please note that Controller may transfer, store and process personal information of the User outside the country where he/she live in. If the Data need to be transferred abroad, the Controller undertakes to:

1. Ensure that the country to which the Data will be sent guarantees an adequate level of protection, as provided under Article 45 of the GDPR; or

2. Comply with the standard contractual clauses for Data protection approved by the European Commission as to the transfer of personal Data outside the EEA in accordance with Article 46.2 of the GDPR.

 

USER RIGHTS AS DATA SUBJECT

In relation to the above Data processing, User can exercise at any time, by sending an email to info@cdrjob.earth, the following rights under the conditions and within the limits indicated in Articles 12 and 13 of the GDPR:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR).

  • Right of rectification of inaccurate Data and completion of incomplete Data (Art. 16 GDPR).

  • Right to erasure of Data (Art. 17 GDPR).

  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).

  • Right to object to processing carried out in accordance with Art. 6, paragraph 1, letters e) or f) GDPR.

User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, i.e., the Italian Data Protection Authority known as (“Garante Privacy”) and/or other competent supervisory authorities (Art. 77 GDPR).

Moreover, if the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means User has the right to receive his/her Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, if technically feasible, to transmit those Data to another controller without hindrance under Article 20 of the GDPR.

 

MINORS' DATA

The Website and the Services are no intended for minors under the age of 18; therefore, the Controller does not carry out any collection and/or processing of personal Data relating to such minors. In the event that personal Data relating to minors are entered on the Website, CDRjobs will delete them.
